The Impact of Mentorship

They asked me for a group photo after the workshop. I didn't expect that.

When I walked into that classroom, I was just another guy with a drone frame in his hand. But somewhere between explaining how a flight controller works and watching their eyes light up when the motors spun for the first time — something shifted.

By the end, they weren't just students anymore. They were asking questions I didn't expect.

"Can we get your contact?" "Are there jobs in this field?" "When's the next workshop?"

And then — "Sir, can we take a photo with you?"

That hit different. ❤️ I've flown drones at IITs. I've built custom flight controllers. I've won 15+ national competitions. But honestly? Watching a student understand something for the first time — that feeling is different from all of it.

Students are like clay. We as teachers just have to shape them right.

This is why I do workshops. Not just to teach drones — but to show them that this field is real, exciting, and full of opportunity.
