Yesterday was a proud moment for me and my team.
Grateful to secure 2nd Runner Up in the 8KG Category at Shaastra RoboWars 2026 ā IIT Madras (International Rivalry Edition) š
This journey was not just about building a combat robot ā it was about:
ā¢ Engineering under pressure ā¢ Real-world problem solving ā¢ Testing design limits ā¢ Learning from every hit taken in the arena ā¢ And most importantly ā teamwork & persistence
From CAD to fabrication, wiring to failsafes, tuning to final battle readiness ā every stage taught us something new about robotics, control systems, reliability engineering and competitive design thinking.
Moments like this reinforce why I love working in Robotics & UAV Systems ā because hardware engineering is not theory, it is iteration, innovation and execution.
A big thanks to the organisers, fellow teams, mentors and friends who supported throughout the journey. And congratulations to all the amazing teams who competed ā the level of innovation this year was incredible.
